Terms of use & licence

WebBoard is an independent Belgian project, published by Delisou Services. We first created WebBoard for ourselves, because we wanted a simple, beautiful and genuinely useful online desktop. Then we thought: "we're making it for us, so let's offer it to the world too."

Our goal: an ad-free app that never resells your data — cool, useful and easy to use. An app that simply helps you.

Free — all the essential features, no time limit and no credit card.

Max — €20/year (about €1.67/month, billed annually): extra desktops, exclusive themes and premium widgets. No automatic renewal.

Lifetime licence — €50, paid once: exactly the same features as the annual Max plan, without ever paying again.

"Lifetime" means your Max access stays active for the entire duration WebBoard is operated, with no time limit and no further payment on your part.

• The licence is personal and tied to your account; it cannot be transferred or resold.
• It grants the same features as the annual Max subscription, future improvements included.
• Let's be honest: "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the service, not a promise of eternity — no app can guarantee it will exist forever. It is a commitment: as long as WebBoard exists and we operate it, you will never pay again.

A "lifetime" purchase deserves a dignified exit. Should we ever stop operating WebBoard, we commit to:

• Warning you at least 6 months in advance, by email to your account address.
• Guaranteeing the export of all your data in reusable formats: your bookmarks as HTML (re-importable into any browser) and all your desktops, notes, tasks and widgets as JSON.

That export feature is in fact already available at any time in the app (profile menu → "Export my data"). Your data is yours: take it with you whenever you want.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details. Accepted methods include card and Bancontact.

It is always a one-time payment: no automatic charge, no hidden subscription. Annual access is renewed manually; the lifetime licence has nothing to renew.

If WebBoard is not for you, email us at contact@webboard.me within 14 days of your purchase: we refund you, simply.

Your sensitive content is encrypted. We do not resell your data, we show no ads and use no advertising trackers. You can export or delete your account and data at any time.

These terms may change; the version in force is the one published on this page. For any significant change affecting the lifetime licence, we will notify you by email.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, we always favour an amicable solution first.
